Senior Researcher
Rupanwita is a senior researcher with the environmentally sustainable finance group. Her research interest includes environment and climate policy, measuring environment sustainability especially at a sub-national level and climate change adaptation. She has also worked in various projects related to developing sustainability guidelines for Indian financial institutions, feasibility study of eco-tourism and small scale renewable energy projects.
Rupanwita is a graduate in agriculture science and holds a master in rural management from Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA). Prior to joining CDF, she has wokred at IRMA and National agriculture cooperative marketing federation; and interned with Self Employed Womens Association and Aga Khan Health Services India. She had undertaken various consulting assignements on goverance issues in rural electricity distribution and socio-economic impact assessment of rural electrification programmes.
