Elizabeth works with the Strategy Advisory Group at CDF, on strategic planning, organisational development and impact planning and is interested in learning about best practices and business models in the development sector. She has worked on client engagements to frame business strategy, facilitate impact planning and better their business processes. Her latest research focused on how to better current evaluation practices for centrally sponsored schemes (CSS) in the Indian public sector. She was previously working with the Research and Development team at Deloitte, Hyderabad where she was involved in competitive intelligence and research for the consulting industry. Her work included a project report on the industry leaders in the climate change, carbon and renewable energy space that fed additional research and provided strategic insight for an internal client.
She did her bachelors in Economics from St.Stephen's, Delhi and recently completed her masters degree in Economics from Singapore Management University. During her masters program, she explored the econometric relationship between financial development and income inequality using cross-section and panel data for 65 countries, as part of thesis research. She also worked on a report to assess the fiscal situation in Bangladesh over a five-year period and identified reform measures that the government could undertake, as part of her Public Finance module requirements.
