Revati Dhoble is a Researcher at the Centre for Development Finance. She works in the programme area of Urban Infrastructure and Governance. She holds a Masters in Development Studies (Specialisation in Dalit and Tribal Studies) from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and a Bachelors in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. Her Masters dissertation was in the area of urban -rural water conflict and issues of appropriations, deprivations and sustainability. Revati has interned with the Kashtakari Sanghatna, a social movement for asserting and advocating rights of the tribal people in India. At CDF, her work has mainly been in the areas of Municipal Finance, Urban Governance and History of Policy Making in India.
