Rich recently earned his MBA at UC San Diego’s Rady School of Management, where he focused on international new product development and innovation management. During that time he was a consultant for projects focusing on clean technology, e-commerce, consumer products and product testing. He also taught workshops on ideation and brainstorming in both academic and corporate settings.
With a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, Rich started his career as an archaeologist in Honduras. He later transitioned into consumer behavior and market research, conducting consumer studies for U.S. and international companies.
Rich was recognized as one of the youngest patent holders in the United States. He believes in the synergy of anthropology and business, and is currently focusing his efforts on gaining insights on the rural Indian market for social innovation.
