Snehashis is a researcher in Centre for Development Finance, IFMR Research. He has an MBA with Environmental Management major and Development Management minor from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal and an MSc with Analytical Chemistry major from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. In his short stint as Sustainability Consulting Intern with Ernst & Young Risk Advisory Services, he developed a Participatory Risk Mapping methodology, a Risk Matrix and a two-dimensional Risk Map for Biodiesel CDM projects and a Value chain based framework to maximize socio-environmental benefits and Carbon revenue in Biodiesel projects through Afforestation / Reforestation, Methane recovery & subsequent co-generation and Fuel switch CDM. His papers were presented in ASSOCHAM International Conference - Climate Change: Business Sustainability and Community in November 2008.
